Sorry I’ve been MIA, guys – had a work trip on the west
coast and just getting back to the land of the living. But here’s a quick
conversations from cohabitation to keep you occupied until Friday’s wrapup!
So last week I had to go to the doctor for a baby checkup
and was in the actual labor and delivery wing of the hospital where little BC
will be born. And it was terrifying, so I texted CB:
Me: “BTW, in labor and delivery and have been laying here for more than an hour and can hear a woman next door in labor. Um….uh oh.”
CB: “Haha jeez! Maybe she’s having triplets?”
Me: “Nope. I asked. And she has an epidural!”
CB (being sarcastic): “Tell her to stop being dramatic.”
Me: “I think someone is stabbing her.”
CB: “Yeah, stabbing her with parenthood.”
Happy Wednesday!
Hope you had a good trip out west! Also....OMG. That is definitely scary. I can't deal with those TLC baby stories, childbirth looks like torture. Like pure EVIL. Hearing it, seeing it, yikes! This is why I really want to pat every mother in the world on the back! :) "stabbing her with parenthood" Good one CB! ha! ---Amanda
ReplyDeleteHahaha I'm hoping I don't feel nearly as much as that woman clearly did! :-)
